Guidelines for Presenters

  • Each session will have 3-4 papers and run 90 minutes.
  • Each presenter will have 15 to 20 minutes for presentation, followed by discussion with invited discussants.
  • The chair in each session will moderate the panel and keep time for the session.
  • Presenters are encouraged to present their paper in English (both spoken and in the  powerpoint presentation).
  • The presentation should be interactive and concise, highlighting key points and arguments. We ask that you DO NOT read your paper for your presentation, but present from your own knowledge, experience, and research.
  • To ensure that sessions run on time, please come to the meeting room 10 minutes before the start time to give your presentation file to the volunteers.
  • You should provide Microsoft Powerpoint or PDF files. All computers are running MS Windows. Those using Mac or other systems should convert their file to a format compatible with Microsoft, or use PDF.
