The crisis along the Thai-Myanmar border is no longer a temporary emergency; it is a protracted reality that demands a fundamental shift and requires immediate, coordinated action across multiple sectors. This plenary session explores a comprehensive way forward by examining the intersecting challenges of humanitarian aid, shifting geopolitical dynamics, local governance, non-traditional security threats, and public health. Bringing together experts in geopolitics, political science, and global health, the panel will address the complexities of these humanitarian issues\u2014from severe border health situations to the links between the humanitarian crisis and transnational crime. By centering our focus on cross-border collaboration, human capital, and integrated human security, this session will outline practical regional responses to alleviate these overlapping crises, alongside specific recommendations for Thailand\u2019s role.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
